![]() ![]() Producing a wide-array of children’s books throughout the late seventies and early eighties, Margaret Weis was known to concentrate on particular themes and arcs. As more work is set on the horizon with much more to come, this appears to be the case from now on into the foreseeable future. With two grown children she continues to write to this very day doing what she does best for a living. ![]() Working as an editor for some years following her graduation, she managed to secure herself a position and some experience in the field.Ĭurrently living in Wisconsin within a converted barn, Margaret Weis is a brave survivor of breast cancer, after undergoing chemotherapy in 1993 and surviving. This then helped to establish her early interest in writing giving it the grounding she needed to progress forwards. Gaining her bachelor’s degree in literature and creative writing, she moved on from the University of Missouri in 1970. ![]() This was when she realized that she wanted to pursue a career in writing creatively for a living. Gaining insight from the world around her at an early age, she went on to develop an interest in fantasy later on. Early and Personal Lifeīorn in Missouri in the city of Independence on the 16th of March, 1948, Margaret Weis has come to have a long and illustrious career as a respected American author. With deeply involving universes surrounding her literature that allows her audience to delve right into, she’s well established within her field as an author of great scope. Not only has she created unique literature, but she’s also produced highly immersive gaming worlds for her readers as well. Writing both fantasy as well as science-fiction, American author Margaret Weis is well known for her work over the years.
